I have close friends who live in Berlin. They're angry.

Seems Angela isn't as popular as she used to be and the far right are gaining traction.
I don't really have an opinion about Germany but something must change and soon.

I think the rich are the ones that provoke this kind of attack. These attacks are all designed to hurt the economy. 911 is a perfect example. We have people who can't afford health care in this country but we have health care pharmaceutical CEO's making $100 million a year. When on average in America, a CEO makes 273 times the average salary of their employee.
Why should a middle class worker in America pay 30% income tax but the trumps pay zero?
I fear Jan 20th this will all get worse.

A previous post brought up how the next president can bring change. All I said was that it was his type that has made this world a worse place.

Fräulein Merkel must be experiencing some major regret. At least for her salvation I hope she is. It is amazing how isolated and insulated these politicians are. Who did not see this coming? Are these leaders that delusional? What arrogance, what kind of psychological aberration is necessary to embrace and implement such a policy?

We have to accept that there are people in this world who want to kill you because they want to kill you.
The only way to change this behavior is to give them a new focus. Farming, families, jobs etc...
Blowing up their villages or cities isn't going to change their goal, it will fuel it.

Those people don't hate you -- they are full of love.
But that makes lousy headlines.
So go look for them. Because the people in the media sure as hell won't show them to you.

Latest reports indicate much forensic evidence found in truck cab, including a lot of blood. The initial suspect was released because none of the evidence could be tied to him, especially the DNA, and no blood was found on this clothing.

No one, as yet reported, saw the driver in the truck, saw the driver leave the truck, or videoed the driver leaving the cab. Additionally, the truck sped through the market for a relatively short distance and came to a halt without hitting a barrier or by any other external means. These revelations made me think, could it be that the driver set up a mechanism that would allow the truck to move ahead at speed without anyone at the wheel and he jumped out before even reaching the area of the market attack? I'm not talking about a "Mission Impossible" type arrangement with electronics or special equipment, but rather something as simple as setting a hand throttle (maybe that truck had one?) or a wedge on the accelerator pedal, and a simple cord to hold the wheel in a straight position (the path of the attack was down a straight street.) This would allow the driver to escape before even arriving at the scene of the attack and be nowhere near the end result. He'd be long gone by the time authorities arrived.

Now, if and when more information is released, the above speculation may be clearly impossible, but at this point, it seems to me to be a viable theory.

he bailed..would have been nice had he gotten caught by a wheel ..

now their talking about some ID papers he may have left behind..
which belong to a known previous terror probe suspect...
which the Germans wanted to sent back..
Tunesia said NO..and so the Germans let him roam again..
