just a thought . Could you not add a heavier spring in the wiper arm to draw the wiper to the window with more force. Add silicon to the rubber for less resistance to conformation. if nothing else , not too expensive to try. dan.

Okay, it's Rain-X.

I used Rain-X on my motorcycle helmet visor and remember it working great.

I stopped getting the rainx that you have to hand apply years ago. These days you can get rainx that's an additive for your washer fluid. THat's the one that I use, and it works great.

Superior german engineering at the time!
Live with it. If you pressure the blade harder to the glass your going to add more resistance, harder on the motor life. Not recommended.

Rain-X was about the only thing that made the one speed wipers in my '66 Mustang acceptable in a really really hard rain storm.
