OK - that is REALLY cool! Love that this, lost for so long, has been found. Really has a lot of mystique.

Trying to read that is like trying to decide where to sit in a messy bachelor pad.

Warning: skeptics are also around. More detective work needed.

Two cars were used for the movie. One is known to be in the hands of a recluse who refuses to show it.

The other, by all reports was severely damaged in the jump scenes and was scrapped, sent to the crusher. Meaning, no paper trail to worry about following.

Now somebody "finds" it in Mexico? Hmmmm. Very suspicious.

I remember the thread here, the auction of a fire victim 1973 911S. Sold for $30K plus. Lots of money for VIN tags. Money...for enough, people will replicate anything and will pull off a fraud if they think they can get away with it.
