damn. my wife is starting work from home!!

she has been on loan to communciable disease dept. obviously, she has been busy.

she is transitioning in back to her new normal position as a RN in adult protective services. that means she gets to work from home sometimes!!

i work from home!! oh-o.

now she can see me do Webex meeting while surfing the internet and watching Anime!! the occasional company meetings on the Bass lakes. its all over. i had a VERY productive meeting while fishing on my kayak once. hahahhaha..we solved a ton of problems. i had my work ipad, crusising plan sheets. it worked in a very busy odd way.

faack. i may as well go to the office.

That happened to me but add a child distance learning.

I set up shop in the garage. Detached garage with TV, Fridge, Microwave, two pinball machines, computer, “homemade recliner” (leather Audi front seat), and two Porsches to tinker with.

I may never go back home . . .

I feel your pain. My wife has been a stay home mom for the past 17 or 18 years now. When she was laid off, and naturally pissed. That was when we decided to work on having kids and help me around the office or the job site getting a few things and meeting subs. Well, that went well. It lasted all of two months. We argue more we had in the past two years, 10 years closer to getting divorce. She had to fire my ass. Thank goodness. Faack is right.

Oh yeah, she fired my ass. Simple. Now, her job is to pay the bills for the house, do bank runs, and make a couple phone call. That's it. She can't stand the way I run things. She's on the ball, everything is in concrete no changes. I am a bit more relax, its about personality and hiring the right / same person for the right job, not money.

My wife is retired, and home for days at a time until she goes to lunch with a friend a couple times per week. I work from home. No problems.

Haha.

In reality, it will be nice to have her around. I think I’m the annoying one.

I go to my office every day. If I were at home with my wife, it wouldn’t work out at all. She’d have me doing chores all the time.

I feel the pain. Mine has been home since March and my easy flow retired lifestyle has changed dramatically. Need to be quiet for zoom meetings, conference calls and that sort of work(ugh) related stuff that I left behind in 2012.
And, as mentioned above, lots of chores and projects and she is a tough boss

I work from home, and I own the company. The boss's wife is always asking me to stop my work, (posting on Pelican mostly) and come dig a hole in the flower garden for her, or clean the koi pond filters, or wash her car. I get even with the boss by drinking his beer and sleeping with his wife.

My wife had been working more, and more at home from the living room couch with the TV on some daytime drama...so annoying. We finally were able to set up my daughter's old bedroom as an office for her with a comfortable recliner, desk, and TV.

This setup works much better for both of us, and I can now watch whatever I want, or just have some peace/quiet downstairs !

My wife has been working from home for 8 months.

My office switched to work from home as well.

With the kids being home due to distance learning, I made until noon the 1st day.

I went back to work. If everyone works from home, then the office will be empty.

Me and another guy showed up about the same time. He couldn't stand it at home either.

Its just been the 2 of us in the office since Mid-March.

While my wife is now my ex-wife, I do have two high school aged kids that are with her and I an equal amount of time. They are doing a hybrid school/home learning and that initially was a challenge for everyone but we all got into a rhythm pretty quick.

I went back to the office August 3rd. My wife doesn't work but having the kids in school virtually left me no place in the house to be.

I think he meant a nap

We had a full house for a while - daughter left New York in April ahead of the mess and worked from here; son finished law school from our living room, three months; wife's DoD engineering job was done from home on and off since April.

Before CV, I generally worked from home two days a week so I was already set-up.

Daughter is now in Charleston, son is at work in Norfolk and my wife is back to a near regular schedule: Her work is highly classified so she has to go in.

Me? I just had a "nooner"
