umm, the engine ended up 200 meters down the road.

I wonder how fast these guys where going when the 911 crashed with the Mustang.

Awhile back there was a video of some Cup Race where a 911 literally lost its motor after getting hit in the rear quarter by another car. The engine didn't slide another 200 meters down the road, though.

That's interesting. Haha, I could imagine our cars, basically the engine held in by four bolts, doing that, but a new one...

The Porsche had to be moving at the legal limit when the Mustang crashed into him.

Haha, I don't even need to hear the details; it was the Mustangs fault.

I had a friend who drove truck a few years back. A guy in a Mustang hit him while speeding. I guess he was trying to light a cigarette and dropped the lighter. Bent down under the dash to retrieve it at over 100 MPH.

Mustang

Looks to have been a Shelby GT! They are capable of some serious speed! Hope it wasn't one of the new 350GT cars!

Shelby GT500 vs 911 turbo, I have a feeling neither were going the legal limit.

Both cars lost their engines according to the article.

Poetic justice?

GT500. 662 blown horsepower...top end advertised as 200. Not nearly as well set up for a road course as the GT350.
