I'm putting a patina on my new Opinel with vinegar to protect it because I'll be using it at work. This is interesting.
I did put a heck of an edge on it. and then while adding the patina, sliced a chunk of myself off. Hahahah. Fortunately, nothing that a bandaid won't fix.

Cool video from Anthony Bourdain about Bob Kramer showing Bob making a knife from beginning to end.
And Mr Kramer makes a knife pretty sharp And if you're really hard core... "The Merton C. Flemings Materials Processing Laboratory and the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at MIT are proud to present Metal Arts lecturer and master bladesmith Bob Kramer."

Anybody know how to contact the producers of raw craft? I could give them a cue maker's name...a guy whose work is in the Smithsonian. Joel Hercek. I couldn't afford one of his cues, plus probably wouldn't live long enough to make it through his waiting list.
Â*Â*Â*Â* HERCEK FINE BILLIARD CUES - Home His mentor, the late great Burton Spain. I had the honor of shooting a few with a Spain cue, courtesy of it's owner. In pool, it's the indian not the arrow. But there are some arrows that are beyond and above, much like a Bob Kramer knife. Burton Spain - Â*Â*Â*Â* HERCEK FINE BILLIARD CUES

"Craftsman's Legacy" is a PBS show that I recommend (one of the few).
They have a "nomination" button on their website. A Craftsman's Legacy TV Show

Anyone that wants to get into trouble, peruse this site. There's some nice looking knives here.
