Just think, how many of us are like that with our cars? I am not but still would like them keep in good running condition. The interiors are clean, but the exterior is always dirty

I've never understood the mentality of not enjoying something you own so you can save it for the next owner... who you probably don't even know.

All of my 911's are driven, some raced, and I enjoy them.

Regardless of this, if you like them and enjoy their visits then just accept that the parameters of your friendship is limited to visits at your house only. If you feel like you are being taken advantage of then just stop inviting them and in all probability it will end the friendship. Either love them for who they are or dump them but don't be aggravated.
That's what my wife and I have decided to go with......they are good friends and they are actually a lot of fun at our place. We also invited them to stay with us in Kauai last year and had a great time...no anal issues....except that G does insist on washing all their towels, bedsheets, pillow cases, etc ....EVERY DAY!

Not quite the situation...unfortunately J was laid off a year ago...so he's kind of at her mercy as she's been the sole breadwinner for awhile now.

Beta losermale then.

Women can smell them a mile away and treat them accordingly.

Cheating has probably already started as she looks for the next vine to grasp.

In the last year they have become very interested in joining us on our camping adventures...well, let's call it RVing...we tow a small 19' travel trailer and head out some weekends when we're not out at our summer place in central BC. They want to sell their Audi Q5 and purchase a trailer and pick-up truck (F150). Seeing as J has been out of work I told them that I'd be glad to help them find a nice, reasonably priced, low mileage PRE-OWNED truck and trailer (like I did three years ago). They have a mutual friend that will gladly buy their Q5.

So I started looking online for them and would forward to them what I thought were good deals. After getting no response from J on about 10 potential units that I had forwarded I asked..."what's up? I think these ones would fit the bill for you guys and they're all pretty new and reasonably priced?" Ahhh, No....J informs me that G will NOT allow him to buy a second hand anything...gotta be NEW!! It then occured to me that they, as a couple, have NEVER bought anything second hand! Always BRAND F U C K I N NEW! Wow, that then just occured to me after all these years!

Better still, leave a couple of pubic hairs on the bathroom sink counter top!

They will most likely sell the house.

Remember when new cars came with fitted plastic on the seats?...60's.
My mother would leave them on and cover them with a wool blanket that she sewed to fit snugly.
Her idea, I guess, was to keep the seats virgin for when the car was sold.
Her house was always sanitary. Make me nervous to be there.
.
A buddy would wrap his remote control in Saran Wrap to avoid any messiness, dust, etc.
.
BTW, the #1 cover-up for toxic shame is perfectionism.
They are guarded lest they be caught unguarded. Fear of disapproval and other various forms of neuroticism.
