What seats do you love?

I need to put a pair of front seats into my new-to-me 94 E320. Was planning on 2015+ Volvo S60 seats. Thought Panamera seats might be good too. These Lexus seats look nice but need tan.

What seats do you love that are both comfortable and supportive?

The Recaro sports seats used in the 2003 Audi S8 are my favorites of all time. I've set my butt in dozens of different sport seats ( I have had sport seats in probably 75% of the 40, or so, cars that I have owned ) and these are the best. Good luck finding a pair, though, there aren't many out there.

I'm partial to the volvo seats- but what about the 7000 way adjustable seats and seat heaters and ABS sensors? adjustable motors? The Volvo (and I assume the others) have electronics and computers with more powerfully confluxtuly complex than my dad's original IBM XT.

(ps- you could probably gut the seats of said electronics and drop 500 pounds of weight off the car, but then you couldn't have seat heaters.) IIRC several volvo seats had the airbag side impact grounds made into the seat. I think, some even have airbags in the bolsters. I can't remember though...At very least they had the weight sensors for the passenger seat for weight/vs. belt on for airbag deployment.

I absolutely LOVE my 2015.5 Volvo V60 sport seats. I can get back and leg pains on long drives in just about every other car. I swear I could drive 12 hours in these without a single issue.

Flame away, but the leather seats in my '09 Bullitt Mustang are both supportive and very comfortable. They're the same seat used in the GT500 of that year, and definitely a step up from the standard Mustang seating. Not the best pic, but only one I have on file.

Craig, is the tan seat above the same as your seats? I drove a 15 S60 last year and really liked the seats. Found this one on eBay.

Yep, only the one color...sorry. Also, driver's side is power adjustable with adjustable lumbar support, passenger side is all manual.

We put 1800 miles in a Ford Focus Titanium this summer, all highway miles over 5 days. No strain, no sore spots, no numb spots, I was pleasantly surprised by the seats. In fact, the whole car was comfortable, something that I have not said about any car since the 90s that I've been in.

The seats in our E36 M lux were super comfy for hours on end. I haven’t found anything since that I liked more. Most car seats these days have my lower back screaming after about 2 hours.

Porsche seats, BMW Sport Seats, and Volvo seats are the only seats I can sit in and drive for extended periods without causing pinched nerve pain in my arse and numbness in my feet and legs.

My E55 heated/cooled seats were one of the most comfy seats I've had.

My 1985 Carrera sport seats were a close 2nd.

These put you nice and low making the shifter at the perfect height for your hand to grab in my 75 911S. I like these much better than any of the Porsche original seat options.

Winner, this was my first thought. Second place for me would be the sport seats in my C63 AMG. Honorable mention to the Recaro SRD and Porsche sport seats.

I’ve owned two GT500s and would strongly disagree. They are flat, have almost no bolstering, and covered with cheap leather. But there’s an ass for every seat.

I've also looked at these and think they would be comfy, sporty and maybe a drop in. But I think they are only in black. Will do some checking.

I do have a question. How hard is it to lower seat rails permanently? I have been looking at Jeeps and I need more headroom.

On a scale of 1 to 5, 1 being me.
