Sorry, but I feel no pity for investors who bought into a company that has made no profit, was largely government funded by an administration that is now gone, has well known quality and delivery issues associated with their product, has well known personnel and management issues, has a CEO that frequently makes questionable public statements regarding the company/product, and is competing in a global industry well known for being competitive and low margin. People are buying based on Musk hype, nothing more, and when that eventually dissolves the investors will be left holding the bag.

On a lighter side note, most folks know what a BFH is.
I wonder if Musk taking a hit on the doobie when he named his rocket BFR?

As far as the investors are concerned... they are probably happy with Musk as long as they keep smoking as well

Not true.
Basically, almost anyone who holds TSLA is sittting on a massive profit.
The stock is still near all time highs. He's made a LOT of people rich.

Wherever there is a rich guy, there is always a bagholder though.

Then they have to Sell it now, and not after it craps out on the stock market for failure to deliver and rising competition...

If they are now sitting on massive profit, it would be illogical to keep sitting on it.

That's what baffles me. How many more red flags do you need?

Asset bubbles are largely a product of human psychology. Witness the RE boom in the early 2000's and the crash in the late 2000's. This is no different.

I see today the SEC has decided to get serious about Musk.

I agree with sugarwood. Everyone should buy tons of Tesla stock. All you can. Take a second mortgage if you have to. Don't sell any of it. Ever.
Elon has promised us everything will be fine, or, the world will end and iff you don't agree you must be a "pedo".

sugarwood 09-30-2018 03:25 AM

That's not what I said. TSLA is going to $0. But be clear, people have not lost money yet. They're sitting on huge profits.

Which begs the question - why hold? So many reasons to sell, why hold?

lendaddy 09-30-2018 07:55 AM

It will not go to zero, it will be purchased/rescued by a primetime player before that would happen. There is a ton of value in the intangibles of Tesla; it's damn hard work building a cult from scratch, much easier to buy one off the shelf.

Sooner or later 09-30-2018 08:03 AM

I owned some stock. Damn near a triple in 4 years. Sold it all last year.

I understand.

Either way, everyone needs to hold onto TSLA stock no matter what. Messiah Elon must be supported.

What a great buying opportunity Friday was.
