Calm App?
Anyone have experience with it? I have heard a few things from some folks I know but wanted to see if anyone here uses it.
I did a search and couldn't find a thread, if I missed it and its a duplicate my bad. |

I don’t recall the name, but there was one that was heavily promoted for a few months recently. I tried it. It was some woman trying to speak soothing words but she has a voice like a cat pooping barbwire, so ... no.

I did for a while. It worked for me, up until the exercises became ingrained. Still use them to nap on airplanes.

I just use a free white noise app. Works great to help me sleep especially in hotels.

What works for me is a generic podcast, especially if it's something I'm interested in. I know it's counter intuitive, but if I listen to Planet Money, Radio Lab, Unintended Consequences, or 99% Invisible I'm out in 10 minutes. I have to listen the next morning to hear the whole thing. If I listen to a boring podcast it annoys me and keeps me awake.
