Oban or Cardhu
For a coworker, whom I like, as a Xmas gift. It's between the two above mentioned
scotches. (Or others). I'm a non drinker, the price is not a factor, and this for a seasoned scotch drinker. I have never tasted scotch, so I'm a rookie at this. There seems to be shelves and shelves of Glen this or Glen that, so I wanted to get something a bit different. IYKWIM Last edited by yellowperil; 12-28-2017 at 09:18 AM.. |

No help on the the Cardhu. Oban is certainly a fine gift.

Dennis,
I would go with the Cardhu. Single malts are very subjective. If he doesn't like it, send it to me. Best Les

I chose the Cardhu, seemed to review better than the Oban, but as I said in my first post I don't partake so maybe someone here could give us a Pelican review., Thanks guys

If they are a true enthusiast, it won't matter at all. They will appreciate either. I may love my E46 M3, but I surely wouldn't turn my nose up at a Cayman S.

Sound reasoning, that's why I wanted to get a scotch that might be new to him. Thanks
