So you're expert because you've read something.....lol. I've read most of the Boeing Flight Manual for the 747 (around 900 page or so ) so I'll guess I'll be a pilot next week. You are making yourself out to be a fool. Ever used weed??
After you posted something in another thread, and it read " who'd want to walk around a big city at night anyway" I realised that you live in a bubble. Dunno about you but I love walking around big city's at night. Singapore makes for a nice stroll at night. As does Hong Kong, Sydney, London. I guess I'm not scared of the stoned Boogey man.

I find it odd that anyone would consider stating the findings of the most recent scientific studies on any topic would make anyone less an expert on a topic (that they never claimed to be an expert on). If you read and could cite the 747 Boeing Flight Manual I would deem you more an expert on the Boeing Flight manual than most people...but of course, it is not your expertise you would cite, but rather, that of the authors of the manual.
As far as walking around a big city at night ...my statement (in a thread where it was claimed that one could not do so in the United States without fearing for their life) was,
"Why would anyone want to walk around a large city at night anyways? Most have been ruined by decades of liberal Mayors who do not enforce the law." That does not mean that I am afraid to visit them...only that many have been ruined due to poor management...and do not have anything that interests me.
I really don't see travel as some sort of bragging right...but since you asked about big cities in the U.S....I have traveled more than most folks and spent significant time or lived in/near big U.S. cities from Washington D.C....to Denver, Frankfurt, Atlanta, Miami, Albuquerque, Las Vegas, Austin, etc. and still own homes (that I have lived in as a permanent residence in or near eight of those. I have lived for extended periods in CA, NM, ND, GA, FL, NC, SC, VA, DC, TX, CO, NV (some more than once), visited every U.S. state but one, most western European Countries (many times) and a few in Asia. I have hitchhiked across several countries. I have visited your country for over a month at a time...both rural north Queensland and urban areas like Sydney farther south...and have certainly visited almost every major U.S. city of note and worked in many of them from CA (LA, SF, San Diego) to Miami. I have walked the late night streets of LA and NYC as well as DC, Paris, Berlin, Seoul, Madrid, Sydney, Florence, etc. I have lived in the desert for extended periods of time...and on tropical islands. I served in the military for almost 26 years and 13 in the Reserve with another 16 years in defense/homeland security related jobs. I am as well travelled as a flight attendant. Simply walking around a big city at night doesn't scare me much (as you claim)...but I am generally busy doing other things when I am there with an actual motive in mind than simply walking around. Sometimes I just come here to laugh at your silly personal attacks that you seem to think constitute an argument. Boo!
