That perp was at least smart enough to hold his hands up and lay on the floor like he was ordered.

Yeah, you almost wish he'd have resisted while holding his gun, but then a bunch of cops would have had to fill out a crap load of paperwork. (and on a more realistic note, I suspect no cop enjoys having to spoon someone to death). A neighbor a few doors down from me works for HPD and investigates officer involved shootings (whether it's them doing the shooting or getting shot). I'm sure he's happy to not have any extra work.

Utter desperation! He'll be famous inside... lol

The begging at the door was pathetic but I'd bet there would be some *people that would feel sorry for him. (*I don't want to push this into PARF)

I'm guessing that shop was in a mall so maybe there was no back door or he couldn't find it.

Recently some local punks broke into a delicatessen by jumping through the ceiling. They couldn't get out because both front & rear doors were locked from the inside. The deli had been broken into a few times in the past so the owner had added bars to the doors and windows. Trapped inside, they just sat in the shop all night and waited for the owner to turn up. There was a ladder leaning against a wall in the back room. All they had to do was look for it.

I was thinking the same thing. Once a maroon, always a maroon.
