In your opinion?

Lobster is overrated. King crab all day long over lobster. Even Dungeness.

So, if I can, steak AND king crab!

Steak. But that doesn't mean I turn down a good lobster when it is offered.

I love a good steak. Never liked lobster, tried many times to like it but just can't. I do love some good crab.

I love steak. I also love crab. I never understood the appeal of lobster because it was always like chewing a tire. I have since had lobster at 2 different restaurants that was cooked correctly, so that I now understand why folks like lobster.

Lobster is not like sex or pizza. Bad lobster is a waste of time to eat. Good lobster however is a very good thing.

My wife's uncle is an old timer who lives in PEI, back when he was lad lobster was garbage, bottom feeding lice. He said nothing more said your were poor as dirt than having lobster in your school lunch.
How times have changed, marketing is great.

Steak for me.

Having grown up on the coast I have had my share of lobster. Not a fan of underwater spiders. I prefer sushi quality tuna and good beef all day long.

Good beef, yes, but I can't get into tuna unless it's the light pink really fatty tuna from the belly. I'd rather have a pungent oily fish or even a really good salmon or something.

Being in the middle of the country, I can get my beef dry aged, wet aged, grass fed, organic, etc. I can even get buffalo raised on corn and beer.

What I can't get is decent seafood. When I'm near the coast, I go crazy for seafood. Lobster is fine, crab is better. I want swordfish seared on both sides and like sashimi in the middle. I want some squid at a Japanese steakhouse. I want some mahi mahi.
