Seems like it should weight less being so carbon fiber intense.

Of course it begs the comparison to a Singer. I'd imagine some magazine will do just that.

That interior looks like a 6th grader designed it.

It's part of the moldy cheese surface package. Smells terrific.

Honestly at this point, do we really need another air cooled 911 facsimile? I mean really? This reminds me of the retro phase of new cars that brought us stuff like the PT Cruiser and Beetle.

Okay, I'm not the only one with reservations about this project.

I feel better now.

I'll never even be able to consider purchasing a RUF, but the newer ones seem less appealing. An original 1980s Yellowbird on the other hand.......damn.

I'm hoping its a car for a customer with really poor taste as opposed to a RUF concept.

Ruf is happy to upholster the interior with whatever you want them to use. They have done a few of their own cars with fairly simple materials, but that's not to say you couldn't have normal leather.

I'm surprised they resurrected the SCR badge. That was one of their first models, but it wasn't a very highly modified one.

the taillights...
i like the idea of it, not particularly how they did them, but what they were going for could be pretty cool.
but yes, the car could be prettier.

So, could I get the interior in rabbit fur?

Always like the RUF cars, not that I will ever be able to afford one.

One of the auto magazines got there hands on the yellow bird and took it for a drive. Not surprisingly they said it was great fun on the highway... but nightmare to drive in the city.

Baby sea otter is softer to the touch than rabbit fur, that's what I'd go for

I'm a big fan of Ruf, much more engineering depth to them than other Porsche tuners

But I hear whale foreskin is the way to go if you want the best.

Of all the tuners I like what Ruf does better than the rest.
