4k Computer monitor; curved or flat?
curved monitors... any experience or informed opinions?

guy in my building just got the big Dell curved monitor. software splits it into like 4 windows and you can vary the layout. 38" curved.
I am very tempted but unsure of the stability of the software dividing windows. It's a great view though. better than my 2 24" monitors.

I have been using flat screen TV sets for monitors for several years now. Started with 24 inch, then a 36 inch and now a 48 inch. Helps the old eyes see things way better. The last two have been Vizio and I always make sure on the outside of the box the specs say for use on computers. I have a high end NVidia graphics card and it makes the set have any resolution the card will output. Oh yeah it was on special at Walmart at $249. It would split the screen if I wanted to but since I have been retired for 8 years now.....no need for that.

My business partner has 2 of the 32 inch curved monitors side by side. It is an immersive visual experience. I don't have the space on my desk. I have a 27 inch 4K monitor and a 19 inch monitor to the side. The frustrating thing is the 27 inch monitor is 4K monitor. Some software like QuickBooks just does not use the fonts properly so some text boxes are cut off and not displayed right. I have stupid expensive GeForce GTX 1080 Ti with 16 gig of onboard of video RAM.
And I don't know why monitor makers don't sell a 4K monitor in a smaller size like a 18 to 20 inch monitor.
