Tomato soup with a big dollop of cottage cheese in the middle.

That's not much different from lentil soup with sour cream. yum.

Grandfather would pepper his morning cantaloupe.

I used to work for a company that had it's headquarters in Pittsburgh. I remember the sandwiches and salads being topped with french fries...Primanti Bros?

Also Poutine (Canada) is interesting; fries, gravy, and cheese curds!!! I liked it!

i met a guy that actually put black pepper on his vanilla ice cream. i suspect it was more of an OCD thing, he put pepper on every food item that went into his mouth. every food item.

My father's favorite was steak and mayonnaise.

Dad puts French dressing on his cottage cheese.

When I was little my baby sitter was this 14 year old sadist named Wendy. She organized Fear Factor type events for the kids under her control. I remember eating a tuna-honey sandwich at one point.
