Get off my lawn!
|
My front garden had some ground lights around the sidewalk. A large toad discovered lots of June bugs and moths to eat. We loved it. Every morning there was a huge toad turd on the sidewalk. I mentioned it to my mom who spent a ton of time at the local zoo as a docent. She told me a toad makes a “spool” and to please carefully bring them to her. The “spool” was almost all June Bug wings and carapaces and very fragile. The zoo’s education department was thrilled and carefully preserved them with a spray much like hair spray and they put them on display and showed them to lots of kids.
Bottom line, crap from my house is on display at the zoo!
