Perfect evening for a ride. Here's the bag I ended up with. It works but is a total fail aesthetically. I'm going to either find and modify an iPhone case that will clip to the seat rails/seat post or make one from scratch with carbon fiber. Bike is perfect in all other respects.

Shaun, see rule #26 for posting pictures.

minor infraction rule #48. seat level, however seat needs to go back slightly. Fit be damned.

If you aren't happy with an under the seat tool bag, something like this (not necessarily this specific one) but something like this is useful.

https://www.amazon.com/eoGEAR-Medium-Century-Bag-Gray/dp/B00NMRZ4IG/ref=sr_1_41?ie=UTF8&qid=1529468104&sr=8-41&keywords=cycle+bag

Be careful of the ones that hang over the frame. they get in the wa of your knees if you stand up to climb. This the is narrow and doesn't get in the way.

Personally I use an under the seat back containing my spare tube, CO2 cylinder and tire levers plus cel phone.

Alternately I use a quad lock cel phone case and holder (the same setup I used all the way back form Alaska on my motorcycle, so yes, I trust them).

What about one of the iPhone holders that mount on the handle bars? You can easily get a credit card and a $20 in there with the phone. Most of them are easily removed for aesthetic purposes.

I have a smaller under the seat bike bag with a spare tube and CO2 inflator. I tuck my iPhone (with case) with the screen pointing out in the waistband of my pants over my right kidney. I put my wallet in one of the 3 rear pockets of my biking shirt.

I don't like to carry anything heavy in the bike shirt pockets as it pulled the back down and the front of the shirt up. If you ditch your bike bag I might be interested in it.
