another decklid alignment question
based upon the pics below, would someone be able to tell me how best to realign my decklid?

for deck lid height at the rear cowel .you add or remove washer shims on the front bolts were the deck lid bolts to the hing . the oe bolt should have a 6mm hex head . the shims go between the deck lid and the hinge . you will see two bolts on each side it would be the bolt toward the front of the car . once to get the height to the cowel then you can get your front to back and side to side adjustments .

It looks like you've got a wider gap at the bottom of each quarter panel to engine lid and a tighter gap at the top below the window. For this to be the case the car was probably hit (rearended) square in the back.The factory gaps are always completely even all the way down the line.Unfortuneatly there is no simple fix or adjustment that can be made,as moving the locking latch to one side or the other to close up the gap will result in an even wider gap on the opposite side.

the front gaps to the QTR'S will open up when you get the hight set to the cowel .
