variation side to side

I have completely rebuilt my 1973 911 and am working on fender flares in the rear. After adjusting the camber, toe and ride height in the rear, I have about 3/4" difference in how far out the wheel sticks out from side to side. The measurement from the inner wheel well to the edge of the fender is exactly the same. So, my question is...is this normal? it is the passenger side that sticks out further....

Thanks!
Chris

I measured my 81 SC from the fattest part of the tire on top and eyeballed how far in it is from the vertical part of the fender lip. It is off 3/8 of an inch with the drivers side tire further out.

No idea if it is normal or not.
