Assuming road debris gets picked up by that vent (which I'm guessing it will) how do I clean it out. I just replaced the front condenser but nothing fell out so can it be hung up inside the fan? Just took a 4 hour drive from the house all over the hill country today and with the new AC was very comfortable considering the 90 degree day today so maybe nothing gets in through that vent? Thanks for posting this.

Remove condenser blower to access top of condenser. Vacuum it out. Might get some small leaves in there. For most part, bumper acts as filter preventing debris from getting in there. Not a bad idea to pull the blower every few years---depends on environment car is driven in. Think blower would chew leaves up and spit them on condenser.

Important safety tip: put a fuse on that fan! Porsche didn’t install one and they have a nasty habit of seizing up and then bursting into flames. Ain’t nobody got time for a fire next to the fuel tank and battery. Happened to me in my 1986 930...
