what I found is a PDF parts catalog.

I would love to get a version of the PET program that included more of the 78 930 parts explosion diagrams. was told by the shop I deal with there is big $$ to get this.

i think what you get under your model number on the Porsche site is exactly what the pet will give you.

PET stands for Porsche Electronic Technologies . is simply the parts manual in electronic format, which is what is on the Porsche Web Site .

Isn't the original meaning of Porsche PET: "Porsche Elektronischer Teilekatalog"?

Yea, the Porsche web site has the full catalog, and exploded views. Always up to date.

OK, I looked more at the download and now see the exploded pics.

but, cannot find one for the older 911 turbos, just the 911. they have downloads for the newer turbos.

anyone know where to find the older turbo info?

I think for the 87 PET, the two are mixed together. Just like the coupe, targa, cab are variously mixed. I did not go and check my copy before this statement. I also go and check the 86 PET at times because its not an absolute thing that parts didn't mix through model years. Usually there is no difference.

Try the ‘78 to ‘83 911 PET. I just looked at mine and it has Turbos.

dang... now I see the turbo stuff mixed in.

by the way Dennis, I need to get in touch to start the work on having you make all new custom wiring harnesses for my 930 project. but I am still thinking through what additional gauges, switches I want to add and what to remove, such as glove box light and such.

I’d like to see someone index the PET PDFs as it’s frustrating to scroll through all the pages looking for the correct section.

yea, the PET program is better, but the version I have is missing a lot of 930 stuff.
