Love the car and the attention to detail. Never liked that splitter, on any car, but opinions vary.

I love the design aesthetic of the bumperettes, but it seems like a stainless steel edge would transmit any impact straight into your bumper like a knife. Kind of defeats the purpose of the bumperette, which is to absorb impact and save the bumper. No?

That front aluminum edge is for front protection as I exit my own driveway.......
nothing more...... I had to install one on all of my lower stance euro cars. I'm not sure what your calling the bumperettes. I've been working on some but decided not to move forward with installing those on the rear.

Maybe i am not understanding what you are referring to....

Flojo I ordered that from Brian at RarlyL8 when I ordered my muffler. You have to cut the openings yourself... I did the finish and paint work. Fiberglass construction. Lighter than stock.

I removed my existing exchangers (SS) and 2 in 1 out SS custom muffler the PO had installed. Not sure who built the previous set up but it was really nice and sounded great. I just wanted dual exhaust tips out the back and was willing to pony up the big $$$$ to make it happen.

I thought M&K would bolt direct up.....it did but shifted the exhaust to the right about 3". Dual pipes coming out the back of my 911 cool...... Offset dual pipes not so much.

So......I had Brian make me a set of his headers. Man are those things beautiful. I deleted the fan blower from the engine compartment, built a plug for the floor. Bought a cover plate / heater block off for the left side from Patrick Motorsports . I really like the how this cleans up the engine compartment.

I live in Texas and don't use the heat. It is now deleted but could be put back in the future.

Trunk mat finished today. I just couldn't get the diamond stitching to lay down. This is a woven look embossed leather. I used a convertible top binding material it doesn't bunch up like the binding I previously used.

I was able to source some brass loom and wondered what that might look like on the wires. This color should tone down and look like cadmium plating.......eventually.

Probably not everyone's cup of tea.......it's quite a bit of work shrink wrapping the ends and putting up with the loom's very very fine wires poking you in the fingers.

Been working on and recently completed the hood underliner. I'm pretty slow with my handy work. It is removable and uses a nylon push-in automotive panel retainer clip.
I get pretty bored when I don't have a project.

That looks great, really tidies up the frunk area. What did you use for the underside of the hood, almost looks like a formed piece vs just attaching fabric there.

The base of this liner is a formed piece I covered. This took some work as the formed liner had the hood x brace design formed into it. I covered the liner with trunk type carpeting....some refer to this as ozite. Glued the embossed leather over that.

Unable to post link to liner due to Pelican Rules. PM me for details
