930 Brake problem

Any ideas guys?.. I replaced all the brake pads (front and rears) in my 1977 Turbo... also flushed the brake fluid..... bled the system ( the pump pedal with helper way).... pedal goes to floor now but will pump up after two or three pushes on the pedal. I know it sounds like air in the sysyem but i have bled and back bled the system several times with no change at all??? on the first pump altho the pedal goes to the floor it does activate the pistons in the caliper in all four calipers...........on a side note the front calipers have 2 bleeders the inner ones are they bleeders too? as when I crack them I do not get any fluid out of the bleeder when pumping the pedal?? and also I notice when pushing down the pedal I get air bubbles in the brake resevoir.....

Sounds to me like a master cylinder that is shot, maybe from the entension of the rod while bleeding? I would suggest tapping the calipers with a small mallet to break any air bubbles free that still might be trapped.

Good luck!

Thanks for the reply Chris.. I wil try that and bleed again... it does seem like master cylinder problem... but just weird it would happen as the brakes were fine before I did this?? but I have heard that bleeding with the pedal pumping method can creat M/c problems

Master cylinders are pretty cheap. If your's is old (or original!) it wouldn't be a bad preventive maintenance thing to replace it. Brakes are occasionally very desireable things to have.
