Newest Uro windshield seal doesn’t fit very well
My guy has been doing Porsche, Ferrari etc, too since 1971. He was very impressed with the URO. Those were his sentiments. No gaps at all on my end! Just a lot of time was taken to get the trim just right.
Some of these posts are HILARIOUS [emoji23] Happy burnt rubber trails! |

FWIW, the folks at URO had sent me a new windshield seal after following this thread I’d started. It took a couple of months to get the time to have the glass guy come out to my home and reinstall. The replacement seal was far better! Definitely a bit wider around the perimeter, can tell by how it lays over the wiper bumps. And it sits in the lower corners correctly too. I was concerned it wasn’t perfect especially the lower drivers side, but after a month or so in the heated garage it has laid down perfectly.
Thanks URO. Good parts are only half of the equation, excellent customer service is the other half. You’ve shown you’ve got both http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1550662971.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1550662971.jpg |
