I got myself a lift table from Harbor Freight three engine drops ago. I will never go back to the old ways....

I love my QuickJack. I have only used it for basic maintenance stuff to date but it’s great to see major surgery can be accomplished with it.
I always had a fear of jack stands and I feel completely comfortable under my QJ. As an added benefit, it takes up about the same amount of space as my jack and stands.

I wonder if the QuickJack provides enough clearance to use the hydraulic table...
In my case, I could not fit a regular two-post lift due to ceiling height limitations. I initially had a scissor lift that worked well... but not having the center free under the car to move around got old quickly... that and having all that chunk of metal and wood in the way when the car was not in the garage... ![]() Then the MaxJax was announced and I was one of the first to jump in and buy one. It has been amazing. At the time, since this was the first batch they made, I got it for about the same price the QuickJack sells for (US$1,500.00 shipped with the motorcycle adapter). And when I am done using it, just unbolt and move against the wall and I get all my garage space back. I have it so that I can install it in the different bays... Having some sort of lift is the best thing anyone can do... makes all tasks so much easier. Setup in the double bay... I drilled two set of holes to accommodate wider cars... ![]() ![]() Setup in the single bay

GenX Porsche,
Do you have photos of when you took out the engine? Would be cool to see how much clearance there is while taking it out. Edit: I see you used a motorcycle jack for the engine... that answers my question on the ability to use the table lift... if you had to remove all those parts to clear the engine, then there is no way that the table lift would work with that setup...
