Question Yet another picture posting question for the 50th time this month...

Uhhhh...I'm trying to post pictures of my clutch/flywheel etc. to get some opinions, but I can't get my images under the 64k limit. I've shrunk them to 649x480, but I'm still around 72k.

So how do you get your nice big pics posted???

Thanks-
BG

..or when you edit the pictures, look for a save or saveas option and reduce resolution down to about 75dpi

I like PaintShopPro for photo editing (mainly because I'm too cheap to buy photoshop) - you can get an eval version for free. It allows you to alter the size and compression ratio of the JPEG and tells you how big the resulting file will be. Might be something to consider.

You can safely use 50dpi for a computer image - this uses about half the size of a 72dpi picture. (dpi = dots per inch)
