well..just did 1000 miles across Europe and the only 911-i met was in Cannes...yesterday..today was a nice beach day..the 911 performed as usual perfect gas average was 9.5 liter per 100km..these beasts like long drives-got my A/c charged today for 30 euros at my old friend in Mandelieu.......next is Italia ...

well, i did more full tank test, which is 80 liters .Coming today from Italy back to Czech ....
My Euro trip was fun did not even had a doubt the 911 would let me down..never did actually..
So, i did all together 2 285 miles which is 3 656 Km.Above was wrongly written 3 050 it was only 2 050.i correct it.
The calculation above was done when i really floored it..cc about 140-170 km/hour driving-it was fun.
So this time i took easy and amazingly i did per tank 1 446 km which comes to 5,53 liters per 100km,
I could not believe it..I did use about 1,5 liters of oil...that is all.
Oh..ya in France i did my smog test, so i am cool for next 2 years..guess what with my cat in place(it will be removed for the next 2 years) my HC was 157 and CO 0,56...an excellent outcome;-)i would say..
I have a little lambda bypass in my ecu under the seat.Switch which disconnects the system..and connects for measuring purposes.
I did find today a road in Lago De Garda with my name;-)

the strange thing was the only 3x 911 i have met on the road during 3 656 KM,1st one was in the town where i slept 1973 911S...In Montauroux...the second on the road from Saint Tropez in traffic 1980-83 911 pulling over, not wanting to stand and overheat the engine(i did too but i went to the beach instead)..the 3rd and last i saw in Austria autobahn (where you can only do 100 km ) it was 1977-ish, nice thou 911..........

I have to clarify the December statement...of course i did drive it before in California many winters- like there are any in Santa Monica.... and in France winters are mild so no snow most of the time...This was for the beast`s 1st time in a temp minus 3;-)in the Bohemian lands.....

Then finally i was heading towards the hills .This is a little history lesson for all of you. I went through this town Joachimstahl in German ,now Jachymov..where they used to mint silver Tolar coins, back in the 15th century.From this name the American dollar got it`s name.

So i went up to the hills to a town which called Bozi dar in English Good`s Gift.I actually grew up there skiing since my dad was a ski pro.instructor.

And of course silly me i tried to go to very top but the road disappeared(just snow) and on summer tires i did not make it.So i had to back up half a mile-safely- to the main road...interesting site for onlookers thou;-)

It was a nice drive but..i will never do it again .It was the 1st time my 911 felt a snow,plus salt,mind you it is 35 years old and no rust whatsoever .Yet....
So i headed it straight to a self car wash, in my town, where they have hot water .the beast got 20 minutes of bathtubbing....the slash was everywhere since i had to the driving in reverse ..but i got it clean...then i put 40L 100 octane racing-gasoline and back to the garage to sleep.....till next time....

Thanx Petr just saw your re:...well i was not happy with my wheel balance ..i took it to a local guy and let`s hope it is fine ..manana i do another test...while having the front wheels balanced i did took the opportunity to to repack my front wheel bearings..so..i`m ready for the test...this was before the test, trying to do 6k in 3rd on local roads no quite there yet ..it is from another threads subject thou.
