As i have mentioned the silver nice 7&8th rims did not last long.Sold them next day .Could not get used to that look. After 25 years driving on black Fuchs just did not like it.
Went for another beautiful drive. It is still amazing after so many years it bring a smile to your face, driving 911......1st fill it up with a sweet sauce...I visited our local castle LOKET alias Elbow form 13th century still intact by times...There is an amphitheatre bellow where there are many concerts last year Offspring among other. But the best is always Jethro Tull..They love it here.Saw them many time in Los Angeles but it does not beat this. Here back in 2010..Going to see them next month again...

Another nice day for a drive in Egerland...Here is a church next to our village dating back to 1181- also remembers the Crusaders in 12th century.
Outside the village are conciliation stone crosses....there i had a little break.....http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1661432658.jpg

Ivan,

What are "conciliation crosses"? I see the pictures, but don't know the meaning.

proporsche 08-27-2022 06:55 AM

Hi here i copy wiki translation ..for you
...........The Reconciliation Cross is a stone cross erected most often at the place where a capital crime or misfortune happened............
In the Middle Ages , it was possible to apply a system of so-called peace law when punishing criminals , when the criminal was assigned a task to atone for his crime . Such a task, in addition to making amends with the affected family, could also include carving and erecting a stone cross at the place where the crime was committed.

A similar symbol is the cross stone , which is a cross carved in stone and therefore does not have the classic "cross" outline.

Judiciary in medieval Western Europe was based on Christian canon law based on spiritual values, conscience and reason. Life on our earth was given to us by God. And human life was understood as the highest value. For the salvation of people, their redemption from sin , Jesus Christ died on the cross. By murdering, putting a person to death, the individual despised Christ's ransom sacrifice and the gift of creation. This action demanded reconciliation with the living God - to confirm that Christians value the Redeemer 's cross. And so, in addition to compensating the bereaved, the perpetrators of the crime were condemned to build reconciliation crosses.

Cross stones were also built as a reminder of calamities, such as plague epidemics.
