Just finished this engine for friend of mine 1982 911SC and i have to say i`m impressed with the power;-)
Ivan oh ya no oil leaks;-))) http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1683399869.jpg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6AFN7rrPSM 2 more to go... |
today i had a house call .So good reason to take my beast for cc200km drive. The fella has 911 1972 about 12 years in the garage but the engine was never runing. So i went to check it for him.Wrong fuel pump and no fuel regulator.
Have to find one somewhere ,it seems the PMO is out of business.... Nice day for drive thou...i hope i do not bore you with my videos;-)))? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IcHrAsfGK1M |
today i picked up from (newly discovered) excellent machine shop, these bracket. They made me perfect copy of the original stop on the Omega spring-shaft resting bracket. The bracket itself is 100 bucks .I have noticed that sometimes this little stop for it, is missing or broken off.
If anybody is interested i sell it for 25 bucks plus shipping which probably not too much for such a light item... Ivanhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1683631207.jpg |

Fruit trees all in flower along your 1½ lane roads. Beautiful.

Had to get some dog food in Germany-always find a reason for a drive.
I have to admit, any time i drive my beast it brings a smile to my face after 27 years of ownership,it is such a pleasure to drive 911.. the 5 is peeking a little,i wonder if it make it this year to 500 000? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4Oj1_416kA http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1689625206.jpg |
Enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing. Looks like a fun drive, w some open stretches along the narrow highway. Surprised there are quite a few large freight trucks as well.

Thanks for the tip, Ivan. I will pass on to my brother and his wife, who are visiting Czech Rep in 4 weeks. Sorry they will not visit your area of Karlovy Vary. This will give them another choice besides Budvar and Pils Urquell!

Ivan, you'll soon reach 500k miles. Have some Champagne to celebrate.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/wat3.gif
