Speedometer problems

I recently had my odometer and speedometer repaired once it hit 101,000 miles.. I’ve noticed that on cold weather days it takes 30 minutes or Monroe for the speedometer to start working. I recently drove it during warm weather and noticed that it worked after 5-10 minutes of running. Any thoughts? My Porsche is a 1986 carrera coupe.

Correction: My issue was intermittent tachometer. Can't help with the speedo but I'd suggest you check wiring from the speed sensor.
