questions about heat exchanger R&R

Just pulled the rusty heat exchangers and rusty Bursch muffler from my '74 Carrera When i put the new heat exchangers on, do you put RTV on the metal gasket that goes between the HE and the cylinder head? If so, i'd presume you'd use the orange stuff.
Antiseize on the barrel and hex nuts or locktite or noting?

Ditto the RTV question where the heat exchanger meets the muffler. There'a a gasket between the two.

thanx steve

Gaskets can go on dry. Yes, apply anti-seize to all threaded fasteners.
