well

I have 181K on the car and the original motor, getting close to 5k on the 81 3.0 I just put on. 3.0 has Carrera tensioners and pop-off.

'87 Targa with 86,000 miles.

No major engine work - everything is still original including the spark plug wires which are getting changed very soon.
Goes thru a quart every 700 miles or so but doesn't smoke - drips a little though.

'75 has 113k I think. It did about 100 before being rebuilt
'69 has (begin bulleted list):
- 180k ish on the chassis (original 2 litre rebuilt once)
- who knows how much on the 3.2l engine (basically nil - just rebuilt)

I've only owned my SC for 2 months now. The engine has about 6k miles on it. I do not know if the original engine lasted 245k miles, but I will check with the previous owner, 'SeaDweller.'

One would be hard pressed to guess this car is 25 years old and has over 250k miles on it. Porsche builds great cars, and owners take great pride in these jewels.

1989 Carrera 3.2, 145K miles. Engine has never been opened, per car's records. Runs strong, sometimes smoke for first 30 sec after car has been sitting a week, 1 qt oil per appx 1500 miles.

45,000 miles on my 1987 Cab - Just did the 45,000 mile service - does that count?

Lack of miles courtesy of previous owners... Thanks previous owners! I've put three thousand miles on it in 4 months!
