'84 CHT Sensor - Did I Not Get the Memo ?

Can't find a Porsche (nor Bosch) CHT sensor for an '84 Carrera.
930 606 915 00 Bosch - 0 280 130 070
Porsche has no stock anywhere and Bosch shows not available. Pelican has neither.
A half dozen other searches and the same sad story.

Need a sensor for a 3.0 to 3.2SS conversion. '84 Carrera heads, intake.
Before I drill the SC cam tower to accomodate a later model sensor, I'd like to be told that the stock head sensor for my Carrera head is NLA and move on.....

An expert in the business could not find it with Porsche anywhere and Pelican and other Bosch sources claim no stock and cannot verify if it will ever be replenished.
This was odd enough to warrant a thread.
I'm glad a few folks (incl John W) didn't answer - hey dude, sorry you didn't get the memo.

I'll keep searching.
Thank you

That's one avenue that didn't cross my mind.
Thanks for the lead....

Thanks to all for the feedback.
I bought the non Porsche/Bosch sensor as Timmy2 has suggested.
Pelican is always my first choice, mainly because of this great forum - but in this case I couldn't.

It is a problem that is beyond the ordinary. Hopefully it's nothing and will soon be in stock for the future.
(Maybe patent infringement ?)
