PMO velocity stacks and A/C

Does anyone know or has a source for a shorter version than the standard velocity stack that I have on my 46 PMO carbs. I am considering putting A/C back on car. Removed initially due to rear deck condenser making contact with carb rain hat
Thanks

Typically PMO provides a shorter intake manifold and shorter filter/rainshield assembly for A/C cars....I do not think the stacks are shorter, but you might call PMO or Pelican to check.

They do make (or at least used to) shorter velocity stacks along with shorter filter elements for the air cleaner assemblies to help with AC clearance. I would up with a set of both by chance. The velocity stacks are for 40mm Webers, so won’t help you. Maybe they make ones for 46mm too?

46mm shorties

It just so happens that I have Carrera backdate in the shop.....engine is a 3.2, built to 3.5 with 46mm PMO ITBs. It is an A/C car and I ordered the "shorty" kit for it......I just checked the install and.....the stacks are short (1.25 high)....the manifolds, filters and rainhats are short too.

So, all you need to do is give Richard at PMO a call and he'll set you up.

regards,
al
