911 sc power window issue

Took a quick drive in the SC tonight and “rolled” down my passenger power window only to have it not come back up. Just replaced the driver side/passenger window switch recently and have not had issues with the passenger side switch before. When I’ve had this issue in the past it normally comes down to the switch, but in this case neither works. Any ideas? Thanks.

I’ve had to replace both pass and driver motors in mine. Spur gear in the transmission strips teeth.
You could try operating switch while pulling glass up to see if it catches, providing this is your problem.
Replacement motors are reasonably priced, but they’re a little bit of a pain to replace.

--The passenger side motor on my '88 acts up every once in a while. I get it going by banging the door card where the motor is or slamming the door while holding the switch in an on position. Just balky, I guess. Should take it apart and clean and lubricate it but I'm too lazy since my "fix" works for me.

Your relay at the front fuse box might have gone bad too. Switch it out with one of the other round black relays and see if they come back to life.
