1973 911t engine code seems wrong

So I recently acquired a "shed find" 1973 911t. It is in rough shape but worth saving. I am building this one to keep from doing more silly stuff to my 76 bastard 911s. About to pull the engine and start a rebuild but the engine number seems strange for the chassis. This a euro so it is the last year carbed so maybe that's it. The engine number is 6531046

I was under the impression the second digit should be a 1 if a 911t , any help would be appreciated.

I agree, big project

Fortunately I have "Ole Betsy" to beat around in while I build.
