Log In Difficulty

Has anyone else had trouble logging in since the "upgrade" to the Pelican system in August? I have been absent from this forum because each time I have tried to log in, the software deleted my password as I hit "login"causing a failure to login. I just figured out that I can go to"Register", enter no information, hit "Register", fail to register, opening a window called "forum jump" then I hit "Go" where I can insert my saved login information and get on to the system. From there I can navigate to the 911 forum. I have corresponded with Dmitry Smirnov at Pelican and he has been unable to correct this problem. Has anyone else had similar problems? Do you know a better way to bypass this login system error? I post this hackneyed solution to my login problem in the hope that others who have been blocked from this forum can also get onto the system and perhaps we can solve the problem.

I have three different devices that I use at different places. No problem with login on any of them.
Clear your cache...restart and try again?

I've noticed that it decides that I'm logged out fairly often and when you log in and it says you will be 'redirected back the original page' it always redirects back to the list of all the different forums.

Thanks for the suggestions. Clearing the cache did not do it. At least I can get in through the back door as described above. Any other suggestions gratefully accepted.

Yep, the system seems to lose the "keep me logged in function" recently. It requires me to log in each time, even with cookies and cache still active. Not sure why it keeps logging me out.

Agreed. Won't ever retain my login no matter what browser. I just log in each time which is a pain.

I'd say it only started for me about a week ago. Prior to that, I was able to stay logged in.

No login issues but "suspicious link' error messages on occasion when clicking on a subscribed thread link........

Sometimes I have to log in 10 times a day. Is it an Ipad thing. Has anyone figured out how to fix this?

Thanks

The generic general answer is clear your cache, log off, reboot and log back in. Seems to work for awhile until it doesn’t.

Welcome to the club. At least there aren’t Liberty Mutual banners on the site.

Login working ok so far. The bad news, when I erased my cache it erased everything in my PP shopping cart. Got to start over.
