Porsche OEM oil lines QA issue?

Good afternoon,

I received oil lines directly from Porsche - OEM - 3 week back order, and one has a crack and is leaking. It is also pretty restrictive on the bend. I do not have another set to compare them to, but is this normal. Not the leak part.

The cracked paint is actually a hairline crack and is weeping oil. I thought it was just chipped paint when I installed them.

I am trying to upload photos using 2 different browsers and both methods with many different photos and nothing is working...

I am very interested in learning more about this. Can you tell us the Part Nrs and where they are on your 2.7 motor?

To upload photos make sure they are JPG files, and under 2 MB. The site says up to 5 MB but often it takes forever to upload a larger file, and for the display on the site, 2 MB is plenty big.

Find the file on your computer, and when you are ready to upload, click "go advanced" and there is a big blue button that says "Click here to upload photos". so click that and find your files, and click the I am finished button, and post it.

One tip, you will see a new line of text. Be sure it starts on a new line and not at the end of a sentence or the photos will be after the sentence on the right.

rxtrom-

Wondering how it went with the factory oil lines?

If you still cannot download photos, email them to me and I will post them for you.

I am wondering if this hose issue has to do with the 30mm Oil Lines on the motor vs the 26mm oil lines on the chassis.

This must have been resolved by now.
