Anyone out there know where I can get a replacement for this broken part in my short shift kit and what the piece is called? Thanks

The part is called the Shift Pivot Housing.

Have you asked Pelican if they might have it as part of a return or something?

Was thinking that as well, but if I can just find the one part to buy it will probably be no more expensive than the cost to pay someone to weld it. Still something to consider if sourcing a replacement part is not possible.

I wouldn't buy warm spit from that guy. LONG history of shady deals.

He used to be referred to as MS Road and RAPE....but that was 20 years ago when they still had swap meets in California. If it's under new management, I'll apologize.

That looks like more of the stock part. The short-shifter assembly is much different. Not compatible.

Yes the shift lever is stock, however the broken part would be a direct replacement

I just installed the short-shift kit from our host about a month ago. As an experiment, I tried using the stock Pivot Housing just to see if it would work. It did not. You physically can't shift. The short-shifter Pivot Housing and VERY different from the stock. FYI.

If you look closely at the OP's pic...you can see it matches the the part in this link:
https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/91142493100OEM.htm?pn=911-424-931-00-OEM&bt=Y&fs=0&SVSVSI=911M

Definitely not the same as the part Harpo is showing in his pic. It won't work. Sorry.
