What is this relay?

Was cleaning up some of the wiring and found this guy. It looks like it’s hooked up to the fuel relay. I’m guessing it was for an old alarm.

It has an led wired up to it.

What do you think? Am I ok removing it?

I’d see what color wires go to it. Defiantly a relay w standard DIN numbers. There are a bunch of those, from lights, to cruise control, air con, fog lamp..

What year car?

30 is Pos from bat terminal, you could test it on each fuse and see where the continuity lies..

Non stock add on relay maybe for alarm. See where the 87 wire goes.

Unplug the relay, and see if the car runs.

87 goes back into the fuel relay. The whole thing just splices into the black wire on the fuel relay. I'm 99% sure I should just cut it out and connect that wire back together.

Yep, looks like it just connects into the bat line headed to the fuel relay. I'm going to cut it out and reconnect that line directly to the fuel relay.

When in doubt....pull it out!

Same philosophy as in pruning....if it's brown....it comes down.
