Question on alternators
I have a 73 911 and not sure which years will work or won’t and would like to know the reasons ? Thank you

Internal regulator v external regulator is one difference, next is the size of the shaft that the fan and pulley attach to.

There’s that chart again I posted in my for sale ad! Thanks to Tom Butler here for creating that. I also thought of the internal vs external voltage regulator issue after we spoke.
