Not getting any vac at the T in the engine compartment

So I’m in the middle of some winter maintenance and doing a bunch of while you’re in there stuff. I have my injectors and fuel rails off and the air box and AFM off. The holes for the injectors are plugged up with rubber stoppers and the oil cap is on.

But when I hook up a little vac pump to the little T junction in the back I get nada. Just want to make sure I’m not overlooking something obvious.

Get a vac/intake schematic so that you can get an idea of what should show vac and when. Without starting info, you may be chasing a ghost

are you trying to pull a vacuum through the manifold and into the cylinder heads?

if so, I don't think it would work.
you would have to set the crank to somewhere around maybe 90 ATDC. (30 BTDC should be the same)
so the intake valves are closed. maybe a little more.
I don't have the opening and closing numbers in front of me

Which T are you working on? There's one that connects the vac ports on the fuel pressure regulator and the damper. There's another that is the vacuum source for the speed control where it taps into the brake booster venturi hose.
