There has been some discussion a while back about adapting the 923 to a 6 cyl. I hope the experts with that knowledge will chime in.

Sounds like you are on the right track. I have read that the 923 has lower gears than the 915, so that may be an advantage or possibly a concern.

Where's Matt when you need him?

912e Trans

Not saying I am an expert, though I have been doing these cars for 45 years, and I couldn't do it and the experts I talked to said it can't be done. Changing the main shaft of trans is the only way. Wish there was.

All things aside, I have to say the clutch feel pedal of the 915 far surpasses the feel of the 923. Unless you like a leg workout
