The picture shows the valves sitting correctly in the seats. Too many heads get mis-cut during valve jobs leading to poor flow from recessed valve seats.

clean machine

the 75 2.7S is cleaning up nicely. This is just a stock 2.7S CIS engine....but they need a little love too!
Cams are timed.....so it should be on the test stand, next week. I still need to test the injectors, refurb the engine shroud, wiring harness....test the CIS system, etc......but getting close to......fire.....

regards,
al

Nice work Al - I had Ollies do all my magnesium engine block inserts 12 years ago - and 60,000 miles later, no issues. Your engine work looks great. Glad it worked out well.

Throw in a tire/wheel size debate for good measure.......?

Rex,
good to hear from you.
Ollie's is definitely the place to go....I have a 2.2 to 2.5 engine rebuild in the works....my case has been at Ollie's for 2 months now and will likely be there for another month....really putting a crimp in the schedule.....

regards,
al
