911 3.2 red calipers

I bought my 84 Carrera 3 years ago. It has what I think are factory polished fuchs 16x7/8 and front and rear red calipers. The car is ruby red, and the calipers really clash as they're a more standard red. Does anyone know if this car could've came from the factory with the calipers painted red? Thanks

Porsche used ATE calipers that were plated.

Damn, that's nice. I would've gone with matte black for the more stealth look.

If you are running the stock brakes, they are relatively easy to remove and ship to PMB. Where they can factory finish in the above yellow zinc look. A rebuild probably wouldn't hurt at this point in the car's life. Likely someone used an enamel kit to paint the brake calipers. If they are 'upgrades' from a later car, they could be factory red. Just post a pic and we can tell you right away. BTW lol at clickclickboom's photo.
