Rear Bottom Engine Mount Studs?

Hi Peeps. 3.0 race case.

I need to replace these threaded studs with longer ones in order to mount a tow hook, a GT3 muffler carrier and a mount plate for a Lifeline Rain light.

Any trick to removal? Can i simply Vice grip the crap out of them and back out? ( of course, with the engine supported from bottom).

thanks very much.....

frank

You should be able to double nut them out.
By 3.2 the factory used 10mm bolts

He's talking about these studs. That's where those tow hooks attach.

Thanks Walter. Yes those. And nice weight reduction! BTW. 10mmx1.5 thread. I think i can just double nut them to back out. Maybe use a propane torch on the block. thanks everyone.
