71 with 3.2 Oil Return Line Fitment Problem
I have a 71 911T that has an 88 3.2 in it. The oil tank is original 71 to my knowledge and it doesn’t have any front cooler. The line between the hard line coming from the case and the oil tank is leaking so I ordered a hose (the one installed on this transplant looks to be from a 77 part#911-107-742-10-M20) that lines up perfectly with the old one but I am getting some serious kinking when fitting it onto the car. The old hose does have quite a bit of bend in it, but no kinking. The new hose seems much softer. I tried undoing the mount on the cam chain cover but even moving it to the extreme doesn’t resolve the kinks. Any help is appreciated!

![]() ![]() Return the hose and I will help you. Since your 88 3.2 motor still has its rear crossover line ending at the Rt rear corner of the engine bay... ![]() What you need is this..... ![]() Plus a short length of Hose. It is meant for the front Oil Coolers on the 964 RSR... ![]() I am happy to help make up a proper Return Hose to the Tank for you. Please, email me ONLY. NO Pm's as my box is FULL.
