Pls Confirm Where to Pry Apart 14 Pin Connector

I've read about people breaking brittle plastic and losing pins so I want to get this right. Do I merely pry apart the 14 pin connector along the line between the red and yellow arrows? Note: pic is not from my car.

Thanks.

Yup, it truly is that simple....I don’t see much risk of breaking anything unless you try to pry the red side or the yellow side without trying to separate it from both sides somewhat evenly.....I’ve never even thought about a risk of breaking it, it’s pretty tough....they’ve all come apart easily for me.

that's where it separates.
it should come unconnected pretty easily.

the "cap" on the right side of your pic can come off is you need to do some rewiring inside it.

If caps come off connectors, individual connector pins will try to come out.
Be prepared
Been there, done that

Thanks Ty and Ted.

Yes, I need to replace a broken yellow wire to the TTS. It broke just outside the connector housing.

You haven't met my gorilla mitts yet.
Anything plastic, or a plastic derivative seems to deteriorate by just my looking at it.
